RESTORE Advisory Committee Members Invited to Attend BCC Workshop to Provide Input

The 4 p.m.  Monday, Jan. 11 RESTORE Advisory Committee Meeting has been cancelled so members may join the special Escambia County Board of County Commissioners’ RESTORE workshop at 1 p.m., Monday, Jan. 11 at the Kugelman Center for Telecommunications, in the Jean & Paul Amos Performance Studio, at Pensacola State College, located at 1000 College Blvd., Bldg. 23 in Pensacola.  Members of the RESTORE Advisory Committee are expected to attend and provide input during the commissioners’ workshop.

The purpose of the BCC workshop is to discuss overall goals and objectives for the Resources and Ecosystems Sustainability, Tourist Opportunities and Revived Economies, or RESTORE Act, dollars. Individual projects will not be selected for funding during this workshop and no official Board action will be taken. Any decision made will not be final until voted on and approved by the commission in an advertised board meeting. The meeting will not be streamed live, but available for replay on the county website later in the week.
